Mission Statement
The Jewish Community Center of San Luis Obispo seeks to foster a united community on the Central Coast through programs offering educational, social and recreational activities based on Jewish principles.

What is JCCSLO?
We are a membership organization working to connect the SLO area community through Jewish cultural programs and special events.

Check out our PROGRAMS for various ages taking place in numerous venues throughout the county.  You can read a bit more detail below in our Annual report on programs, membership, and accomplishments.

JCCSLO is affiliated as a Network Community within the Jewish Federations of North America.  This connects us to a national network of programs, allowing us to help Israel and struggling Jewish communities abroad.  Find out more at www.jewishfederations.org.

JCCSLO Strategic Vision and Future Projects
On February 14, 2010, the JCCSLO Board and committees held its first Strategy Session to better articulate the vision of the organization.  The session was led by Eric Hubbs of Collaboration:  Business Growth Specialists.  The sessions allowed us to formulate how we want to grow in the next five to ten years - thanks Eric!.  Below is the resulting Vision Plan.

JCCSLO is now in the planning stages of its most major endeavor – a community center on its ten acres of land. Those who help to bring this project to reality will have a huge impact on the Jewish community, an indelible legacy.  More details to come on this project.

Also, JCCSLO formed a steering committee to investigate starting a Jewish Family Services for SLO County.  JCCSLO is very interested in programs fostering tikkun olam, the Jewish concept meaning to repair the world.
