Praise for the SLO Jewish Film Festival

2012
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for a magical weekend and making me feel so welcome...I was beyond impressed by the whole weekend.  It was so well organized and put together and I really enjoyed the films, presentations and delicious meals.

WOW!  I can not thank you enough. I felt honored and delighted to be part of the audience for the Heifetz film tonight. What a beautiful and absorbing film.

A grrrrreat job! Dinner and movie were both terrific!

Thank you and really appreciate your efforts which are a great benefit to the community as a whole. Hope the fest is a great success and will encourage more such events.

2011
"Live and Become was an overwhelming film -- one of the best
we have EVER seen! It should be shared with every temple, JCC
and synagogue in the world.... plus given a special award by the

Academy. Everyone in the audience was moved...Thank you for
bringing it to us."

"Thank you for all your hard work and I feel blessed to be part of
this community.  When I was in Brazil and we had the Jewish
Film Festival as our own event, but here it is really important to
bring our community and values together.  This was an amazing
event and I hope we have many more to come!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the film festival and it proved that a
54-year-old professor can continue to learn. My daughter loved the
cultural experience and will use some names, references, and
material as she pursues her doctorate in Yiddish Language and
Culture at the University of Michigan."

"What you guys did this weekend, from my tiny glimpse, was beyond

professional, amazing, and is going to stay with me forever. Thank
you."
