JCC SLO and our community raised $2,500 toward winter care packages for the Holiday Feast, and many of our members were involved with the event itself. Please read the following message to our community from SLO Community Cares: This year’s SLO Community Holiday Feast took place at the SLO Veterans Hall. Despite stormy weather and greater need than ever, our Jewish community came together with remarkable generosity and compassion. Together, we served ~800 meals—both at the Hall and through deliveries throughout the County. Each guest also received a winter care package with brand-new essentials, including new: duffel bags, sleeping bags, winter jackets, rain ponchos, sweatshirts, socks, toiletries, and grocery gift cards. This meaningful day was made possible by the extraordinary generosity of our community. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who cooked, packed, delivered, donated, and volunteered. Your kindness provided not only nourishment, but dignity, care, and a sense of belonging. Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and peaceful 2026. With admiration and respect, Sheri Eibschutz SLO Community Cares
