We are honored to announce that the JCC-Federation of San Luis Obispo is now an official member of the Rising Tide Open Waters Mikveh Network.

This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we work to bring an inclusive, community-rooted mikveh experience to the Central Coast. Our vision is to create a welcoming mikveh and retreat space for reflection, healing, celebration, transition, and Jewish ritual life for people of all backgrounds and experiences.

We invite our community to learn more about mikveh, explore our vision, and get involved:
  • Join our emerging Mikveh Committee
  • Support the project through financial contributions
  • Help shape this sacred community initiative from the ground up

Learn more here:

We also encourage anyone interested in mikveh learning and leadership to explore upcoming educational opportunities through Rising Tide and Mayyim Hayyim:

Of special note: the next Mikveh Guide Training cohort begins June 6 — a meaningful opportunity for those interested in sacred hospitality, ritual support, and community care.

We look forward to building this together with our community.
