JCC SLO & ISRAEL STATEMENT
As an organization grounded in Jewish values, one of the key pillars of our work as the JCC-Federation of SLO is focusing on the well being of the Jewish people here, in Israel and around the world. Our commitment to the principles on which the State of Israel was founded continue.
The JCC-Federation of SLO is also a member of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). The JFNA office in Jerusalem represents the Federation movement in Israel, serves as the main Federation connection to the Israeli government and connects with Federation-funded partner agencies working in Israel. That office provides Federations with the latest information and policy analysis of relevant issues and critical information guiding overseas work and investments. It also supports missions helping to inspire and inform Federation leaders about the movement’s work abroad".
