President: Adrienne Shivers Adrienne is a dynamic businesswoman, wife and mother, residing in Pismo Beach. Adrienne sees JCC's value in it being a touchstone to Jewish life on the Central Coast for anyone and connecting those that are already involved.
Treasurer: Brenda Hock Brenda has lived in San Luis Obispo since 1999, ending a career as an investment advisor in New York that spanned three decades. Since moving here to marry her husband, Jules, she has been very involved in our community. She served on the Woods Humane Society Board for 9 years, two as treasurer, hosted the Slo Cooking with Brenda Hock radio show for 6 years, and has served as a member of the SLO Community Foundation Investment Committee since 2009. She is a past-president of the JCC Federation of Dutchess County, N.Y. and a founder of the Hebrew Free Loan Society in New York

Executive Director: Lauren Bandari As Executive Director, Lauren is leading JCC in establishing its community presence and growing to serve the community at large. She coordinates its programs and services, and works to collaborate with other community organizations. Lauren originally hails from Chicago, IL, where she grew up in one of its northern suburbs, Highland Park. Lauren was raised in a Conservative shul, and went to a Bnai Brith Jewish overnight camp in Wisconsin. Her personal connection to Judaism started to take root during a summer travelling around the country with other Jewish teenagers. That summer she found herself leading services, and experiencing her Judaism in profound ways. Lauren very much feels the power of community and is passionate about connecting us here in San Luis Obispo county. Lauren has her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and focused on Nonprofit Management. Her undergraduate degree is in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before moving to San Luis Obispo, Lauren worked for the Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Sotheby's, Inc., University of Chicago Press, and University of Wisconsin-Madison Press.
Saplings, Camp and Grounds Director: Julia Valentine A decades-long teacher and trained school gardener, Julia is taking off with our Saplings program! She is taking care of our bucolic 10-acre property and building up our infrastructure for amazing camp experiences.
