You can allocate the donation to specific programs within the form, if you'd like.

Tribute donations are a wonderful way to celebrate a simcha or commemorate life events. We will email the acknowledgee informing them you made a tribute in their honor, if you supply their email address.

HOW TO MAKE IT A TRIBUTE:

ONLINE: Use the "this is in honor..." button when you make your donation.
CHECKS: Include a note with tribute information.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

People often ask “how can I help the JCC and save money on my taxes?” Here’s a simple way adapted from the websites of Fidelity and Vanguard Investments.

Retirees who are 70½ or older can donate up to $100,000 a year from their IRAs to charity via a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). A QCD is a transfer of assets from your IRA payable directly to a qualified charity or 501c(3) organization, such as the JCC-Federation of SLO.

Branded sponsorship amounts vary yearly, depending on the event and level. Opportunities include the Jewish Heritage Festival, Camp Shoreshim, and sponsoring our newsletter (which reaches over 1200 Central Coast residents)
