Mission Statement
The JCC-Federation of SLO seeks to foster a united community on the Central Coast through programs and services offering educational, social and recreational activities based on Jewish principles. We strive to "Build community locally, connecting globally."
What We Do
We serve as the focal point of Jewish community life in San Luis Obispo County. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization enriching life in the area and connecting people of all backgrounds, ages, and religions.
The JCC-Federation is a part of the Jewish Federations of North America, a global network of communities. Locally, we are members of the SLO Chamber of Commerce, SPOKES, and the Downtown Association, along with being a partner (through our social service agency, Jewish Family Services of SLO) with Transitions-Mental Health Association. The JCC-Federation is also served by the Hebrew Free Loan Association of San Francisco, a nonprofit that provides interest-free loans to help Jewish individuals in Northern California (including San Luis Obispo) overcome financial challenges and pursue life dreams.
Our 2,300+ member-based organization is led by its Board of Directors, Jewish Family Services Volunteer Intake Coordinator, JCC-Federation Manager, committees and volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming more involved by donating your time, support, or expertise at [email protected]

Strategic Vision
We held our first Strategy Session five years ago to better articulate the vision of the organization. With a lot of hard work, we met those 5-year goals within 3 years! Each year we update our Vision Plan, as outlined in our Annual Report: Annual Report 2021.
Here is our Annual Meeting Presentation made available for your convenience.
Further details on our Financials are publicly reported online here.
