JCC Supporters - Our BackboneIn a recent community-wide survey, almost 200 households in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties told us they warmly view JCC programs. By connecting and representing all Jewish people - whether or not they are affiliated to the various Jewish institutions in the region – these programs are valued, appreciated, and enjoyed.
However, their future is not guaranteed. Donations are valuable, but unpredictable. Like all non-profits, the JCC has a budget which requires predictable income. After much consideration, the Board of Directors is initiating an annual “JCC Supporter Contribution” beginning September 1st, 2023. This new lifeline will create a reliable structure for all the programs and services you’ve come to expect. A financially secure JCC benefits everyone! |
Becoming a JCC Supporter...
A JCC Supporter is a household committed to donating $144.00 (eight times Chai) annually, subscribing annually, or renewing in September. This donation will secure the JCC programs and commmunity services you've come to expect.

"Friends: I just donated $144 to the JCC-SLO. What impresses me the most about the JCC-SLO is that they give back to our community. If someone calls in asking for a gas card, a grocery card or the like, the JCC of SLO gives - without question as to the person's religion. This has always impressed me.
Organizations such as the JCC-SLO are all about community. Building community and giving back to the community. They are following the cornerstone of Jewish identity: Tikkun Olam - Making and leaving the world a better place than we found it. I am asking as a friend. Would you please keep the JCC-SLO going and give $144. Thank you for listening. Shabbat Shalom, Ellen November" |
