POSITION TITLE: JCC Manager, JCC-Federation of San Luis Obispo
REPORTS TO: Board of Directors, JCC-Federation of San Luis Obispo
LOCATION: San Luis Obispo, CA
Primary Function: Execute and manage the JCC-Federation operations, including communications and marketing, program delivery, organizational initiatives, and office management to advance JCC's mission within the area. Represent JCC-Federation in the community and serve as the face of the office. Report to and engage with JCC-Federation board and program committees.
Responsibilities include the following:
Office administration - data entry, maintaining donor database and processing donations, filing, answer phones, oversee office volunteers, interface with other staff, members and community. Assist with program implementation and development
Marketing and Communications - manage web site and social media, generate organization newsletter, prepare reports management. Represent JCC-Federation in a variety of forums to promote public awareness of JCC's mission, work and programs. Assist and support Board of Directors in fundraising, sponsorships and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, experience with public speaking a plus
• Highly effective interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships, comfortable in a visible position
• Ability to absorb and learn new information quickly
• Ability to multi-task, and respond effectively to rapidly changing priorities.
• Proficient in Word and Excel mandatory. Some knowledge of budgets and finance, QuickBooks experience a plus.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree or comparable experience is required. Experience with nonprofit management, or a related field, is preferred.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Part-time, 20 hours/week. Flexible hours between 9am-2pm, Monday-Friday.
